As a full service obstetric practice we offer ceasarean section when appropriate.  We give women every chance to deliver vaginally, but when the health of mom or baby are in danger of being compromised, a c-section may be necessary.  Our c-section rate is 15%, well below the 28% national average.

C-sections are referred to Dr. Abbot, Dr. Plotnick or the physician on call.  Midwives have completed surgical assisting training and are qualified to assist with your surgery.
